About WordsGuess
WordsGuess is a free word guessing game you play in your browser. Find the hidden five-letter word in six tries, on your own or racing your friends.
How the game works
Type any valid five-letter word and the tiles change colour to show how close you are. Green means the letter is in the right spot. Amber means the letter is in the word, but somewhere else. A muted tile means the letter isn't in the word at all. Use those clues to narrow it down before you run out of rows.
Ways to play
Daily puzzle
One new word every day, the same for everyone. It changes at midnight in your own time zone, and each day has a puzzle number so you can compare results.
Practice
Play random words as often as you like, whenever the daily puzzle isn't enough.
Battle Mode
Race up to five friends on the same word in real time, with battle items and two scoring modes. How battles work.
Challenge Mode
Pick a word yourself and share it as a link for a friend to solve.
Three languages
Battles and custom challenges can be played in English, Russian or Armenian, each with its own word list and an on-screen keyboard to match.
Free, with no download
WordsGuess runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. You can play the daily puzzle without an account. To join a battle, a display name is enough; create a full account only if you want your stats saved across devices.

Who makes it
WordsGuess is built and run by an independent developer. There is no company or advertising network behind it. We collect as little data as we can; the privacy policy explains exactly what is stored and why.
